Meet our Eye Doctors at Mill Creek Vision
Dr. Jonathan Jenness received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Microbiology. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry graduating Summa Cum Laud and receiving awards in clinic and academic excellence. After graduating he completed a fellowship in Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation at the Padula Institute of Vision Rehabilitation gaining experience in treating visual dysfunction following a neurological event such as a traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease among others. Dr. Jenness also offers outstanding optometric care in the detection of glaucoma and ocular disease, and provides contact lens services. He is a member of American Optometric Association, Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and College of Optometry Vision Development.
Dr. Zdravka Gueorguieva is born and raised in Bulgaria. She graduated from Medical Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1988 where she received her training in eye diseases and practiced as an ophthalmologist for 11 years. After she moved to US, she completed her optometry training and earned Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2005. She has worked as an optometrist in many modalities of practice ever since. She is passionate about primary eye care, fitting patients with glasses and contact lenses. She greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, hiking and skiing.
Dr. Dion Di Blasi was born and raised in Seattle. He graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Economics. After working in marketing and leadership development, he decided to pursue his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pacific University College of Optometry. His optometric experience includes treating ocular disease at a VA hospital, managing binocular vision conditions, and treating diverse patient populations in primary care settings.
Dr. Di Blasi is also an active member and leader in the SGI Nichiren Buddhist organization. His hobbies include hiking, running, snowboarding, and rooting for the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks.
Dr. Fred Arima of Mill Creek Vision graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Zoology & BS in Psychology with honors in 1976. He finished his optometric schooling at Southern California College of Optometry in 1981 with an O.D. degree, Cum Laude. He has operated his private practice since 1981. Dr. Arima is very active in many local and regional Optometric Physician's associations.
