Lens Prescriptions

We hope this finds you and your loved ones happy and healthy.
Unfortunately, it appears the social distancing directives of our Governor will not enable eyeglass and contact lens examinations at this time. We realize that some of our patients’ contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions may have expired and you may have used all of your disposable contact lenses or broken or misplaced your eyeglasses.
We thank our patients for their understanding and loyalty during this pandemic and have arranged for some free shipping and handling services as indicated below.
Contact Lens Prescriptions
If your contact lens prescription has expired during the months of March, April, May, or June 2020, we will issue a temporary refill for at least a 3 month supply of the disposable lenses. If the minimum contact lens quantity availability, due to brand packaging, is 6 months, then we will extend your contact lens prescription for 6 months.
We have depleted our sample contact lens allotments and will not be able to provide sample contact lenses to our patients at this time.
During the months of May and June 2020, there will be no shipping or handling fees for your contact lens orders if you order two boxes or more in one order. To maximize social distancing and minimize time in our clinic, your contact lenses will be mailed to your residence or place of business.
Eyeglass Prescriptions
If your eyeglass prescriptions have expired during March, April, May, or June 2020, we will issue a temporary extension of your eyeglass prescription for 6 months.
During the months of May and June 2020, there will be no eyeglass shipping and handling fees.
For optimum comfort and vision, we do not recommend mailing your eyeglasses to you until they have been properly fitted and adjusted. Your eyeglasses will be mailed to our office and we will notify you when they have arrived. Whenever possible, we will adjust your eyeglasses for you while you are in your car in our parking lot.
We continue to remain open for emergency eye care to protect our most precious sense.
